Dust Containment
JJ Containment Booths provide a safe and cost-effective solution to powder handling issues where local exhaust ventilation (LEV) and capture hoods become inadequate and non-effective. This is done by creating a constant down flow of clean air which flows evenly over the booth area to suppress respirable dusts and fumes away from the operator’s breathing zone. Air is then recirculated through low level grilles and cleaned through three stages of filtration to provide the clean air down flow.

Booths are also equipped with constant airflow and filter monitoring equipment to enable them to function at optimum efficiency and they operate under a slight negative pressure to prevent any powder escape and to alleviate potential cross-contamination. The negative pressure also prevents the recirculated air from becoming stale.
JJ Containment Booths are available in a range of sizes and materials and can be specified to suit individual requirements.
When product containment and operator safety are paramount, the JJ Genesis Dust Containment Booth provides:
- High containment and control of airborne particles.
- 3-stage filtration including HEPA filters.
- Filter and air speed monitoring with integrated inverter fan control.
- Improved cleanliness and reduced risk of product or cross product contamination.
- Modular construction in a range of sizes, materials and finishes.
- Built-in workbench, lighting and power supply sockets.

The JJ Laminar Containment Booth offers the same containment and extraction benefits as the JJ Genesis Booth; however, the laminar flow design protects operatives against fumes from chemicals, solvents and glues, etc. Fumes can be either filtered, treated or removed to atmosphere.
